"We spent Thanksgiving here with our son and his wife. It was a cold weekend and this was a lovely, cozy home to gather in. Plus the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking some rather elaborate meals. The knives were dull, but that’s to be expected in a rental. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful family vacation at Hideaway Cabin. The pool was perfect. Very clean. Having a washer and dryer for a family on vacation is always a plus. Pretty secluded and relaxing. They need better property pictures because it is so much better in person! Yard is also spacious but not shown that way in the pictures. "

"My husband and I wanted to have a place to stay where we could fish the river from our rental. This place did not disappoint! As it states in the listing, it is semi-rustic. No fancy amenities, just the very basics. We loved it! Julie was a great host. She is very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying here again next Spring or Summer."

"My family of 7 enjoyed the cabin, the pool was fabulous, hot tub perfect for enjoying in evening and fire pit was used for s’mores and hot dogs! The owner was very responsive. I did think the photos made the property look larger than it was. My only suggestion would be a good deep clean and the exterior needs attention, screens were torn and need cleaned, rear porch door needs attention, leak under faucet. Close to everything. "

The cabin only allows 2 cars to park in front, which was originally a concern since we had 3 cars coming. But to our pleasant surprise, there were 2 overflow parking passes available to a lot close by."

"Great little place. We had to buy a lighter. Grill wouldnt ignite. No junk drawer with handy stuff like a lighter. No spices. Salt and pepper to be specific. Had some yellow jackets, due to very rustic windows/doors. Loved the two box fans."

The property was absolutely beautiful, and the home had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged.
