"This hotel is probably the highest building on a mountaintop city. Staff was excellent, food was good, and views were breathtaking. Parking is avail in moderation. But like a lotnof historic Europe, it is not for the faint of heart. The road is only wide enough for one way traffic and alternates directions with the use of a traffic light. "This is a little gem. The word "hostal" is not indicative here. It is more like a small boutique hotel. Yes, the rooms are small. Also decorated BEAUTIFULLY. Great attention to detail. Lots of free parking in the park one block down. The owner is terrific and helpful. Everything is immaculate and new. Great air conditioning. We loved it!!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Tambor del Llano! The inn, grounds, and farm are lovely and peaceful. We spent 2 nights and we wish we had booked at least 3 nights. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor. "

"Uns hat es nicht ganz so gut gefallen, das lag aber auch an der Hitze, die wir so in den Bergen nicht erwarteten hatten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung war teilweise spärlich, sodass wir uns eine Woche Selbstversorgung dort nicht vorstellen konnten. Wer nicht zu viel Platz braucht und nicht selber kochen will, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Umgebung ist zum Rad fahren und Wandern bestimmt toll. Außerhalb des Hochsommers probieren wir das bestimmt noch mal ..."
