"The hotel switched owners and the new owners are doing some remodeling. We have stayed here before. The staff is still very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast options. Comfortable room."

"When we first arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. The hotel room we went to had damp bedding. We asked the front desk and he apologized and moved us to another room. The next room was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. The area around the hotel is perfect, target is walking distance and my kids loved the trampoline park within walking distance. Hotel is dated but it was clean. "

"Microtel is a very cost effective property to stay at during a trip to Ann Arbor. The stadium pictures and UofM paraphernalia was great to see. Go Blue! Also making our own waffles were a tasty treat for breakfast. "

"Free breakfast did not include any hot items and was typically high in sugar. They had instant oatmeal and 2 types of cold cereal, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, milk, juices, tea and coffee plus bread and sweet pastry. Only 1 ice machine worked although it needed a trick to get the ice out in volume. I didn't go into the pool or gym (cardio and not strength focused). Room was ok but the stairs were filthy and really showed the hotels age. Quiet location for the most part."
