"The lounge was good. The bed was good. Dirty marks on linen/pillow cases. No tea towel. No milk for tea or coffee. Holes in under the window. Dirty marks on walls."

"The owner and staff are lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people."

"Arrived quite late around 9pm but this was no problem. The room we were given was quite simply stunning. A beautiful rustic attic room with wooden floors and huge beams spanning the ceiling. There was a 60 inch TV and Netflix was provided free of charge which was a nice surprise. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much to ask for. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Excellent stay. Property was exactly as advertised. Owner gave great communication about location of property, check in and parking with pictures included. Appartment was clean and had everything I needed. Nice little apartment in a busy area, with a supermarket, convenience shop and a few takeaways within a 5 minute walk. Bus stop just outside. Would book again."

"Booked 3 night stay, arrived to a property that looks to be in disrepair. Rubbish in the garden and overgrown. Opened the door to the accommodation and was immediately floored by the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. 10mins of being inside the property my clothes stank of cigarettes. The property details clearly show ‘smoke free’ Whilst looking around I noticed what appears to be human ‘snot’ wiped up the wall under the TV. "The Redbrook lodge was beautiful. Ample parking at the property and easy to get to. Everything supplied that you would need for an overnight stay. The bathroom door was a bit tempramental as it is on a runner but i assume it just needed fitting back onto the runner so not really a criticism. The outdoor lights were not working but the warden was quick to come and attempt to fix them, but was unsuccessful. I would still stay again."

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "
