"Our check in was very smooth and friendly. We ate at the restaurant which offered a good choice of food and the staff were very obliging and helpful. The position of the hotel in relation to Gatwick Airport is very convenient and the hotel offers a shuttle service for a reasonable price. There is also free parking available. A great place to stay. "

"I needed a room for the nite and it provided me with what i needed. I would suggest the matteresses are changed and the shower is looked at. They are either cold or really hot. It was difficult to modulate the temperature to a warm setting. The matress was too soft"

"Everything you need for a few nights stay. Walking distance to local shops, bars and the Abbey. Situated in tbe heart of 1066 country on the high street in Battle East Sussex. Only negitive, asked at the recepition about breakfast in the resurant, guy showed us a menu, asked him if he would recomended it he said NO they have only been doing breakfast a coupe of months and pointed us down the road onto the high street to bakery/cafe. "

"This overall was one of the best experiences I have had. Owner went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
