"We enjoyed Havana Lodge very much. The staff are very helpful and kind. The Desayuno (breakfast) is fabulous and large every day. Pets are very welcome. The gorgeous, tranquil, beach is less than 5 minutes away. There are many lovely places to eat nearby. We didn't use them. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked and really nice kitchen. And the gas BBQ. The grounds are so tranquil and peaceful. We look forward to returning soon."

"This property is realy close to many food options, as well supermarkets and very close to the beach. The rooms at the hotel are very clean and confortables. "A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"

"I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. Takes getting used to drive up the crazy hills. Great location and food/restaurants was amazing!!! So fresh and good. "
