"I just needed a room for the night due to work in the area the following day. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The room (small apartment with shared toilet) had everything you need (fridge microwave, shower) and probably,d again surprisingly, a very comfy memory foam mattress. All was clean and directly opposite shops and a very good Indian restaurant. Parking, although road side, was ample. Would stay again."

"I was lead to believe (from hotels.com presentation) I had a cabin with a private hot tub, and would therefore expect an en-suite. I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. "There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. "Needed to stay in the area 4 nights for work, chose this hotel because it was attached to a pub so after a day's work wouldn't have to go into Ledbury to eat. The pub was not open and I didn't see any member of staff during the stay. I had a phone number which I used to ask for more milk and coffee in the room, came back to find a couple of sachets balanced on the windowsill. No one came int the room to clean, change towels, etc. "
