"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. Modern amenities (multiple shower jets and toilet seat options), extremely comfortable bed (we slept in the main bedroom), lovely open vista over the lake, and very convenient location if you’re in town for a concert at Bethel Arts, which we were. Host was friendly and communicative and the cleanup required when we left was minimal. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything was exactly as I hoped it would be! The amenities were above expectation. A great stove and dishwasher. The hot tub was comfortable, the perfect temperature and clean.
