"We booked last minute due to having to cancel our trip into France because they closed the station due to finding an unexploded bomb from WWII. With that being said it was our first time staying in a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are small of course if you are traveling with lots of luggage which we were. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station, but conversely this does make it quite noticable when trains are arriving/departing. As a deep sleeper this was not an issue, but for someone who is more prone to sounds at night, this could be problematic. "Absolutely lovely. Well lit leading to hotel, safe area to walk late at night, and the right amount of space. Staff always helpful and kind. Heads up if you have a large suitcase as there is no lift. Coffee and tea available in lobby, and a little sink in the room. All of about ten minutes from major train station, less for smaller one.
