They did upgrade us which was so nice but it’s the little things like having hooks to hang your towel in the bathroom, they ask you to reuse your towels then there should be some where to hang them. Unfortunately I found the downstairs bed to be lumpy and that I was pretty sore when I woke up in the morning. My sister slept upstairs and said that hers was fine. "a wonderful historic building that is beautifully remodeled and updated! Very competent and attentive staff. Loved that we could park car and walk to many activities and dinners! Also utilized their laundry service which was so convenient and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"Only stayed one night but was very comfortable, although after one night it is difficult to form a considered opinion. The room I had (8) was small but well furnished and comfortable. The evening meal well cooked served. I only booked this hotel because it featured in a 1993 BBC movie "A Foreign Field" but I was not disappointed"
