"Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."

For several years we have toured the Somme and Ypres but this year we wanted to tour the Normandy landing beaches. What a gem of a find for accommodation. "Property was as described and more. Host was awesome! Google translate and you are in a conversation. He is very accommodating to non-French speaking visitors. One hour or less from everything. A beautiful spot in a great part of the country. 15 minute drive to three major grocery stores. I hope to return, a home away from home. Merci Jean-Claude!"
