"The room was clean and comfortable, and location was great as we were just passing through on a road trip. I felt bad for the girl at the front desk, as she was the only worker there. During the day/night that might be fine. But when breakfast is available from 6-9, there should be another worker just taking care of that. "The hotel was nice and central. Next to the canal offered a nice place to walk and hear the gondola pilot singing some Opera. It was great. The breakfast was good. Must take my hat off to the staff, especially Jack. They took care of us and got us the right room. I would highly recommend it."

"Suite was clean and spacious. Apparently the hotel was having some renovation work done so only one of the two elevators was operational and it was SLOW. Front desk originally put us on the 8th floor but after waiting almost 5 minutes for the elevator, I requested a room on a lower floor. Ended up being on the 1st floor, which was perfect. "Immediately upon stepping in the elevator I noticed how unclean it was. The hallway was unclean. There were dirty towels stacked in the hallway outside of the housekeeping door. The refrigerator in the room did not work and ruined gallons of milk that I had bought for my children. There were no towels or soap in the room. The walls and doors were dirty. And I had to dust off the bedding because there were flecks of something on the blankets. I'll never stay at this location again."
