"Located in the centre of the town, so there's dining options like bars and yakiniku and convenience stores within walking distance. Keep in mind though it is a town that is in gradual decline and it shows when you walk around, especially down the main or high street a block back from the highway. "ビジネスホテル代わり、のつもりで利用しましたが、風呂・トイレが別だったり、台所があったり、と 1人の宿泊にはもったいないくらいのお部屋でした。大学の向かい、という場所なので、下宿兼用なのかもしれませんが、隣の部屋がうるさい、ということもなく、快適でした。食堂・コインランドリーも併設されているので、1週間・1ヶ月くらいの連泊にはもってこいだと思います。また機会があったら利用したいと思います。"

"Sounkyo is a quaint little resort town with not much in the way of facilities, but this hotel helps make up for that. They provided dinner and breakfast so I didn't have to worry about finding a restaurant in the freezing cold. They also have a hot spring, a place to chill and play billiards, and even a movie showing every night in which I regrettably could not partake. I also stayed during Sounkyo's Ice Waterfall Festival, which was marvelous and a bit different from the other winter festivals...
