First off: if you arrive by var, there is an entire gated area belonging to the hotel where you can park your car in the shade of olive tree (most hotels in this area only offer right spots which are difficult to get in and out). "We could not fault our stay at Hotel Garni Selene, it has a beautiful pool and lovely large balconies, all with an uninterrupted view of the lake. All of the hotel was spotlessly clean. It was a great location for us and we used the shuttle bus several times to go into Malcesine. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would haven no hesitation in returning to hotel Garni."

"Can’t believe this hotel is rated a 2 star, it’s fabulous and only a short stroll away from Malcesine centre. Despite it being next to the main road we didn’t find it too noisy especially at night. Rooms are spacious and clean, the bonus is the swimming pool. We highly recommend it and hope to return next year. "

"The Remo is fabulous. Such a lovely location on Lago Di Garda with great hospitality and service! Wonderful breakfast, dog friendly beach and some of the best Pizza I’ve had! All right there!! "This little hotel was really outstanding. Very clean, excellent service, wifi worked well. Great location overlooking the lake. Underground parking was tight but very manageable. We had to leave early on the day of departure so they even went out their way to set up some breakfast for us specifically. A bit of a walk to Malcesine itself - would recommend the bus or driving rather than walking. Bus stop is a few mins walk from the hotel and buses are frequent."
