The house is outstanding and is close enough to Fredericksburg to be easily accessible by car but far enough away from the fray! The owners were very responsive and everything was as advertised or better! We plan to return soon. "

"It was spacious and comfortable and well stocked! It was great having a fenced yard for our 2 little dogs…beds were super comfy, great AC. The hill country was in a drought so the river was pretty low but the house itself was a comfy spot to crash after hiking, shopping etc. "

"Love the vintage collection and decoration to make this a "Red Barn". Everything you need for a get away. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a full breakfast and late night snack. Host is very nice to take us to kayaking in the near park. Nice view to the valley. You may also welcome by the deer in the morning."

"The house was beautiful, clean, and away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was so relaxing. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace was wonderful for our chilly nights. The house could use a few more cooking utensils and serving pieces. We had family nearby and they had to bring things over to use in the kitchen. "
