"Cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The property feels secluded an quite,with walking trails. There is a gas grill and firepit for use. Theres mentions of wildlife in the area but we didnt see any at all,except for birds so if you are a bird enthusiast this is place for you. We sat out by firepit at night and it was peacefull and relaxing.loved this cabin."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"The location is perfect for family gatherings by the river, including beautiful rapids on the Guadalupe River, and lots of other amenities in the campground. The cabin was in pristine condition upon arrival and set up for extended stays, if necessary. The entire property is well maintained and can accommodate large groups staying in separate cabins. We will definitely be returning soon!"
