"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). "An old farm house, located directly on a crossroads, with views over the countryside. The room was clean, pleasant, and comfortable. It was more a guest house than a B&B, with the main rooms, including the kitchen, available to everyone. Guests avail themselves of supplies and facilities to make their own breakfast. Host was friendly and welcoming."

"This place is not what is shown on Expedia. It is now a hostel for social housing. We were told they do not advertise on Expedia any more. But they let us pay and check in without telling us about the changes. We immediately checked out but have had to wait for a refund. "

"My expectatiions were not high afterall the price was very low but it was worse than expected.I was unable to access property. On arrival the front door was locked and despite saying reception was manned at my time of arrival no one answered when I knocked the front door whichr had peeiing paintwork and damage to the bottom.
