"Our room was clean and staff was friendly only down fall was they advertise a pool in pictures and description but it’s not available even though there’s water in the pool. Breakfast was alright. I didn’t like the eggs but everything else was good. "

I was surprised that there were no usb plugs in the room. We decided to go to the Heidout at the end of the street for dinner and back to the hotel bar for a nightcap. The drinks were good and reasonable but again, just didn’t feel welcomed. "

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. The location was nice. The cabin was secluded in the woods and was close to town. We even went ice fishing right off the property. It was easy to get ahold of the owner and the owner made sure we enjoyed our stay. As well, the check-in was easy. The only downside of the cabin was that there was items in the fridge, drawers, and around the cabin that made it seem like someone was living there. This gave us less room for our things. "We were there just after Labor Day so there was zero activity on the lake. We live in downtown Chicago. There is always some kind of noise happening near us. In this cabin and down on the lake it was absolutely quiet except for an occasional bird call. Very refreshing."
