"We were just traveling through the area, and needed to stop for the night. Didn't do any shopping, or anything like that. The continental breakfast , was good. There was a variety of food to choose from. Not many tables to sit at indoors, but had a couple tables on their outdoor patio. That is where we ate. We were told we could take our breakfast to our room , if we wanted. We didn't , as we wanted to catch the ferry. The stay overall was very good."

"The Spot was fine for a quick overnight after we arrived on the very late ferry. I appreciated that we could do an online check in and get access to our room, and that we could stay with our dog for a $20 pet fee. It was clean and the room was comfortable. "

"Due to travel delays, I was arriving late so the staff left me a key to get in my room in a key box, which worked smoothly upon my late arrival. In the morning, I had another hotel guest yell at me from the balcony which was weird. It wasn't clear to me where I should leave my key, but it all worked out. The staff was very communitive by phone. "

"Rooms are very clean. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. Plenty of parking spaces. A lady who was seemingly having hallucinations was yelling at an invisible person outside, and asked to use my phone to call 911. She seemed mentally unwell. The motel staff seemed well-aware of her presence - they seem to manage the situation sensitively and as best they can, but this is good to know for anyone who considers staying there. "
