"I like the antique atmosphere probably because it's an old hotel. Room I rented was clean. Only problem I had there was the wifi, but that's not an issue for me since I can just use my data to access the internet. The closest station is like a 14-minute walk from the hotel which is fine. Overall, I would still recommend it if you are into old hotels."

My husband cannot eat any wheat or gluten so the monks made sure he had a special vegetable dish with no soy sauce. The rooms were at first cold but with the heaters warmed up nicely. "Cool experience to stay in these lodgings. There is a heater in the room but the halls and bathrooms are pretty cold when it’s not warm out. The bath is amazing, so hot and relaxing. The morning prayers were very cool to experience. You do sleep on traditional futons and pillows, so if you’re picky about your pillow you might want to bring your own.
