"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! "Amazing experience staying at this ryokan. Upon arrival they had our name on a piece of paper posted in the front window of the hotel which was helpful to identify that we were in the right spot. Room was large. Staff was Super nice speaking english and answering all our questions. Breakfast was AMAZING! We wish we had also done dinner. Right in the middle of all the hot springs which was fantastic."
