For stays like this, where I am by myself and don't need to look after a spouse or kids, I *really* appreciate the ability to get a room for such a reasonable rate. Location is great if you want to explore Old Hangtown, Apple Hill, Gold Bug Mine, or about an hour drive to south Lake Tahoe area. Service was prompt and friendly. The room had a fridge that worked great (practically brand new), and a microwave which I never plugged in but...

We loved having large communal spaces with the kitchen/dining area with plenty of seating and appreciated it being connected to the living area. "House is beautiful, woodsy area, quiet and peaceful.Eight adults and two kids. There was plenty of room. Well stocked with kid stuff (dishes etc). There’s a great outdoor area, I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. The home is comfortable and no one complained about their bed. Score!
