"Arriving at 3.30 we had to fight our way to the bar of this Irish club to check in (it happened to be St. Patrick's Day !) The barmaid did come and show us our room however, a triple with 3 single beds. It was very cold and the radiator stayed stone cold until at least 7 p.m. and was cold in the morning when we were getting up. The room was very basic and there was no waste paper bin. "I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. Give me this over a nameless boring chain hotel every time. Thank you David and team at Cross Keys Chatteris. I’ll be back for sure."
