"This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"The house is very spacious and well equipped. The spiral staircase up to the two bedrooms is very steep and narrow, this could prevent some less able people accessing this area. It is too steep for younger children without very close supervision. The location of the house is very peaceful, great for a relaxing time together."

"We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of 4 and our plans. The reason for 4, rather than 5, stars was due to a couple of things. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew). Your water gets amazingly hot and we felt some kind of warning is needed, especially when small children are staying. These things are...

"We had a lovely stay at Beck Cottage. Scones, clotted cream and jam were waiting for us on our arrival, along with a bottle of Prosecco. The house was really clean throughout and is decorated beautifully. We were a group of 5 adults wanting a relaxing hen weekend - the hot tub and lovely garden with hammocks was just what we needed. I'd definitely recommend the property for a short break. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating with great communication. Thank you!"

"As shown by the 5 stars ratings, we were pleased to stay at Barrow Barn and enjoyed our time there. Just 2 matters to comment upon - 1) The caddy marked coffee contained self-raising flour. 2) After the first day the TV signal for BBC was extremely poor and unwatchable."
