"This is an older building and could benefit from some updates. However, it met our needs for a clean, quiet, economically priced room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel provided breakfast items, including "make your own waffle," fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, coffee, etc. The staff were efficient and friendly. We will stay here again when skiing at nearby Giant's Ridge. "

"Room was nice and the sofa bed was actually comfortable!! Which is unheard of. We were there for a ski race at nearby Giants Ridge on a frigid weekend. Hotel was a great launching pad. Otherwise not much in the area as far as I can tell. "

"While the building is old and a bit out of date, we found everything clean and in working condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful, glad to answer questions and advise on road conditions. The breakfast was very nice. We even got a cookie on our way out in the morning! We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again."

"There's a lot to do around this hotel, as it is situated on a lake (it's Minnesota, so this is probably to be expected). This was convenient to getting to the southeastern side of Voyageurs National Park. The room was adequately comfortable and felt clean. Breakfast begins at 4:00 a.m. which is convenient for hunters, fishing people, and truckers. They serve pizza 24 hrs/day. The staff was friendly."

"Great place to stay for a family ski trip! So many bed options for the kids in the living room so the adults could have their own space. Very clean and comfortable condo with lots of bedding. We will be back! "

"Spent a winter weekend with kids and grandkids, we loved the house. The large dining table was great for games and meals together. The bunk room was a huge hit, watched several movies on the big screen, played games, and all of the grandkids had their personal space. The four other bedrooms provided plenty of room for the adults. The only problem we had was getting in the driveway during a snowstorm as there is a hill and a curve to negotiate. "For the first time we had a slight issue with our vacation rental. When we arrived and entered the unit, it was obvious that it was not cleaned. Contacted the host and was moved to another unit, which was fine being it was exactly like the one we had rented. The only other complaint would be the heating/ac unit is extremely loud and was disruptive while trying to sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated that we were able to bring our dog with us."

"Alot smaller than we thought"

"The cabin was perfect for our family vacation! Not only was it dog friendly, but had a great dock for our boat and was in a secluded location to relax (while still close to town!). We had zero issues and 100% recommend staying here. The owner was very helpful and easy to reach out to for questions. We would definitely stay here again! "
