"It’s a good hostel for a short stay, the showers seem to be brand new and the place is quite clean. There was a really weird smell in my dorm though (it was a mixed dorm) and some people were REALLY noisy. One of them would pace back and forth between the bunks in the morning, which was bizarre. Some had had too much to drink and others seemed quite hostile. As if other people had it easier than them… Just because people don’t complain it doesn’t mean they have a cushy life. "Nice hostel. Man and women use the same toilet and shower so not feel comfortable , especially when just finished shower can not just walk out until put all proper clothes on and wet in shower could not dress up easy in the shower room. No curtain cover no privacy as every one can see eachother. "

"The room was very clean and bathroom too. Comfortable and also a good size. We were expecting the room to be cleaned the next day - Boxing Day - but it wasn't. We didn't see anyone at all throughout our stay other the cleaner on the morning that we were checking out. Maybe because it wax Christmas Day and Boxing Day. "

"This was our 6th or 7th visit to the Angel. It has never disappointed. Clean, comfortable with excellent service and lovely ambiance. I thoroughly recommend the cod and chips which was exquisitely cooked. Just damm good value all around!!! See you again soon."

"It was easy to book and checking in was easy once I found the right phone number. I had many emails confirming booking and one of the phone numbers listed took me to an irate gentleman who had not been involved with the hotel for 2 years. Need to check that all numbers are valid. The room was very nicely furnished and presented but the blind was impossible to raise so no natural daylight available. "Great place, great location, great price! The host was so welcoming and provided us with plenty of recommendations for things to see in Bath. The rooms had plenty of amenities and I loved the commitment to the Georgian-style decor. Absolutely stay here if you're coming to Bath!"

"It's 1:02 in the morning and still the pub is full of drunk, loud people singing at the top of their lungs. Management must be encouraging it since no one has told them to go home. When you have guest rooms, you should practice respect for your guests who are trying to sleep!! Never again will we come here. "
