"Overall it was pretty good to be fair, though I think a few things could be improved. The check in was straight forward and you're given a printed sheet to put in the front of the car to cover parking in the pay & display at the rear of the building. The room was small but comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. There were fresh towels and plenty of tea & coffee. "Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Very friendly and helpful service. Great communications. Free on site parking included with stay. Clean and comfortable bed, although bedding (pillow, duvet) old and a bit smelly. Nice ensuite room. Grubby carpets and door mirror. "

"My wife and I visited for a show in town, and the hotel was in a great location for accessing the town centre. The decoration was unique and really pleasant, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was very comfy. We also really enjoyed having keypads to access both the building and room so we didn’t have to worry about keys/cards."

"Lovely apartment everything there breakfast was delicious and beyond expectations. Was very convenient for a family wedding held in the area. "

"The host, Pete, was extremely welcoming and informative. The property was on a busy street, and we enjoyed watching the hustle & bustle of the small city. However, our first floor bedroom was located in the quiet rear of the house, so we slept peacefully. A ten minute walk got us to the main attractions of The Roman Baths and The Abbey. "

"Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "
