"I’m a solo female traveller and it was really safe, you’re from the center but there’s a bus at 2/3 minutes walking distance that goes directly in the center and then to move around in the center there’s a lot of free bus. The breakfast is really good! You can do laundry and on weekdays there’s really few people. There’s a lot of music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, but with earplugs or AirPods you’re good-it’s wasn’t really a problem for me. "

"Great place to stay but my room was freezing, we arrived after 6 , i think the rooms could have been warmed up before hand, so not a good start. The staff are very friendly and as a pensioner and no lift i was offered a down stairs room. The pub opposite was very handy for an evening meal and drinks. On the whole a good, clean, family place to stay, but please warm your rooms while it’s so cold. Myself and my family thought it was good value."

"Wow! A great budget hotel that is worth every penny! We stayed in 2 of the garden rooms which had lovely patio doors overlooking the garden. The bathrooms are a little tired but the rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. Free wifi and parking were fab and the location was only a short walk to Lord Street and Marine Drive etc. The breakfasts were amazing value for money at £5 each, including a cooked breakfast, toast, pastries, jams, spreads etc, fresh fruit, cereal and tea and coffee. "New years eve stay, chose due to central location. Large room, plenty towels and hot shower. Would recommend as breakfast is available, and although we were at another venue for a party, food was served during the day/night. "
