"Nice rooms above a pub, clean and modern. Didn't hear any noises from the pub. Very comfortable bed."

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay, my partner and I had one of the balcony rooms and it was lovely; very clean and well kept, we were provided with a kettle as well as tea, coffee and biscuits which was a nice surprise! We had a problem accessing the room initially but the host was incredibly helpful when we called and everything was sorted! One thing I would say is it’s down a lot of narrow country roads, so be careful of the weather (we got into a bit of trouble with flooding on the way...

"Comfortable stay, pleasant location. Room clean and had everything needed for our one night stay. Unfortunately no bar or restaurant at present but a communal room with fridge and microwave available if needed."

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"
