"Over 140+ 5 Star reviews spoke true with our visit. The narrow road to and from the rental was reason for a giggle. Vivienne and Richard were incredibly sweet and fantastic hosts... Who can not be happy when they love to do chores to Bruce Springsteen? The rental was comfortable, very cozy, private and perfect. Everyone had mentioned the delicious lemon drizzle cake and loaf of bread... Absolutely delicious. I want the recipe Vivienne lol. We couldn't take the rest with us due to us flying...

"Joe and I had a wonderful stay at The Shed. The space and size were perfect and exactly what we were looking for in a English countryside cottage stay. The bed was comfortable. We spent plenty of time in the cozy living room reading and relaxing. The kitchen was serviceable. The heaters took a bit of time to get going but they put out plenty of heat to keep the space warm. "We stayed three nights for a family wedding locally. The house was spacious downstairs which was a plus due to the weather as it was very stormy and cloudy and foggy! The house had everything we needed lovely terraces which we would have loved to use if only the rain had stopped! The bedrooms needed a mirror in each room to help the female guests in their getting ready. But overall a lovely house! "

"On the downside the heating was a little hit and miss! Floors were very noisy and the blind cords very flimsy. The frontdoor was difficult to close from the outside. Some interesting features for younger people but older visitors would appreciate more comfortable armchairs. Having said all that we did enjoy our stay."
