Main pub was so dead when we arrived they were serving food and closed early at 830pm which was very disappointing after a long journey. Room was a great size. Bedding smelled stale, but looked very nice Some ofvthe fittings and fixtures were a bjt dated and had seen better days. On site parking was good. Toiletries were minimal so glad I brought my own. It was ok but not sure I'd stay there again."

"A fabulous stay in a well-appointed (and beautifully-decorated) room! The location was excellent, a short walk from all the historic sights, and I very much appreciated the ample wardrobe storage and the kitchenette. Check-in was straightforward and communication beforehand was thorough. The one thing I'd note is that the room was located on a road that saw some traffic in the mornings, so bear that in mind if you're an usually late and/or light sleeper.
