Thebrooms are large also, although a little dated, the facilities downstairs have all been recently refurbished and look great. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. The only issue we had was when we were checking in, in which we had paid for an early check in, the reception desk was not manned, nobody came to assist for nearly 10 minutes and although we had paid for...

"The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I stay at this hotel regularly as it’s a great location for the Merry Hill shopping centre and nightlife. My only negative comment is the hotel is a little dated. They’ve recently added plasma TV’s to the room but removed a big mirror to put the TV. The TV in the room this time kept turning itself off which was really annoying. Also the QR code for the food menu wouldn’t work and there are no menus in the room anymore. "

"Love the quirky historic artefacts displayed around - suits the age of the property. Spacious and really clean room and bathroom, super comfortable bed. Great breakfast too and such reasonable pricing. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Conveniently close to The Robin for our gig. Glad to have found this hotel and will definitely be returning."
