"We stayed here because it’s dog-friendly. Loved it because it was steps away from the beach. We walked on the beach to the pier morning noon and night; our pup definitely loved that.The exterior is kind of old and rusty but the rooms appeared to have been slightly updated with laminate floors, are work on walls and comfortable bedding. It doesn’t have the old musty smell; definitely a good thing. We also took our bikes and there was plenty of space to keep them and our dog’s crate in the room...

"LOVE this hotel! it's my go-to every time i'm in morro bay! i love the fireplaces in the room, and the massive roman bath jacuzzi in the basement! their breakfast is typical continental, but always well stocked and i like that they offer fresh fruit (whereas most hotels only offer processed foods). there is parking on-site, and if the hotel gets packed then you can easily find parking on the street right in front of the hotel. the only thing i don't like about this hotel is the service - there...

"We arrived on Sunday evening and received a friendly, helpful welcome from Colin. The room was spacious and well equipped with lovely complimentary items. The beds were heavenly and were all slept soundly and tbh I didn’t want to get up. The location is number one, being walking distance to Morro Harbour. I’m very happy we booked here and recommend to everyone. "

"Pros: staff was excellent and tried so hard to accommodate our request for a quiet room. Con’s: Unfortunately,the 1st room the AC unit was right outside our window and we didn’t sleep at all the 1st night. They moved us the next day but the freeway could be heard from that room. There really aren’t any “quiet” rooms at this hotel. It also could use an update.the carpets were very worn and our shower stained. But like I said the staff very polite,cheerful and tried they’re best to make things...
