"The buccaneer inn is a very basic, no frills motel. But its convenient location to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants makes it a great place to stay. I have been staying there for over 30 years. We love the pool area also"

"The location was great, however a souvenir shop was built so close it blocks the view of the beach. Great beach to walk. Several fun restaurants in walking distance with good food. We stayed in sunset. The room is very small but the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean except the floor turned our bare feet dirty."

"Hotel is an older hotel, but convenient and located a couple minutes from downtown. Room was comfortable and clean, air was cold, shower was hot. Front desk was very polite and accommodating. Only suggestion I would have is maybe have an extra blanket available in the room. Otherwise would definitely stay here again. Appalachicola is such a cool little town!"
