Serenity Beachfront Condo at Cape San Blas

Our Dunes Club's unit is a three-bedroom, beautifully furnished, first floor, beachfront condominium unit. This serene property is located on the Gulf of Mexico on Cape San Blas, a large hook of land jutting out from the mainland near Port Saint Joe, Florida. Dunes Club has a swimming pool, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk, elevator, high speed wireless internet, and free long distance phone calling. Our unit has a large deck facing out to the Gulf of Mexico. The view is also readily available through the living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors. Colorful wooden rockers, dining table seating 6, and electric grill are available on the deck. There is a stairway from the deck to the ground just a few feet from the swimming pool. A boardwalk leads straight to the beach where you find few other people, if any.

Pelicans and gulls fly overhead fishing and dolphins may be seen in the water. Fishing can be done from the beach with a valid fishing license. The surf is typically gentle. This area is one of peace, quiet, and tranquillity. One can walk the beach, pick up shells, or swim. Children can run and play, swim, and build sand castles.

The front of our Dunes Club unit has an additional large deck with stairs to the ground and the other two floors above. Adirondack chairs have been provided and serve as a great place to make long distance cell phone calls. The elevator and rolling carts from the ground level parking area makes moving in and out easy as well as transporting groceries.

The unit is spacious, with luxury leather sofas with recliners, and includes all necessary amenities. The master bedroom features a huge king-size bed which could easily sleep three persons. It has an adjacent master bathroom with bath tub and shower. The second master bedroom has a full-size bed and an adjacent bathroom which also is accessible from the main hallway. The third bedroom is small, colorful and has a single bed. The master bedroom has a new flat screen television on the wall. The second master has a television and DVR. There is a large laundry room which provides extra storage area.

Our whole family loved the condo at Cape San Blas. It was nice, clean, and had everything that we needed to make our vacation great and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals in house at the condo and had everything that we needed. If we ever return to FL we definitely want to stay here again.

Great condo! Great location!
My family and I totally enjoyed this pretty, awesomely located condo. The kids especially loved the location of the pool, which was basically outside of our door. Loved the big porch overlooking the pool. The beach is a bit of a walk but accessible by a nice boardwalk from the pool area. Truly a beautiful beach and a great vacation!

My husband and I were looking for a few days of peace and quiet on a non-crowded beach in a well kept condo. Nancy's place was exactly what we hoped for. Her condo was clean, well stocked, quiet, and the beach was not crowded. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Condo
We were all very comfortable and very happy with the unit. The elevator was so very helpful. The view was beautiful and the porch a very nice place to sit even in the rain. Nancy, the host, was more than accommodating. She responded so quickly and was very helpful. The bed was very high and the toilets very low and difficult for someone with mobility issues is the only negative comment I could make. I wonderful place to stay.

Very nice

Very nice condo
We enjoyed our stay very much and had plenty of space to relax. We loved the porch area and the fact that our unit opened right to the pool. The unit was clean and having a washer and dryer was a big help in keeping us clean. The only thing we were disappointed with was cars are allowed on the beach. Over all, we had a very nice vacation and Nancy was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity but there needs to be more towels for the bathrooms. The kitchen is in need of new pans and utensils. There are a couple of boards off the patio that need to be checked, they were a little soft. We do like to cook while on vacation and it was difficult with some of the kitchen things. Thank you for letting us share in your beach house for a few days.

Great condo, beautiful beach, gracious owner
Nancy was very responsive and super helpful in anticipation of our stay. We have spent many summers at the Cape and really enjoyed this location. If you go further down the cape you lose cell phone service. The condo is within walking distance of the Sand Bucket restaurant. Everyone in our group was very impressed with the food there! We loved the large patio and enjoyed behind able to walk straight down the steps to the pool. The closet was stocked with all the beach necessities which was super helpful traveling with kids. We visit the cape 3-4 times a year and look forward to returning soon!

Fantastic!!!!
We had a wonderful time staying at Nancy's condo. Everything was immaculate when we arrived, and Nancy has thought of everything to make the condo comfortable. The condo pictures are perfectly accurate. We loved the way the condo was decorated, reminding you that you were at the beach at every turn. Nancy was such a wonderful owner. She called to make sure everything was going well, and even called when a storm was coming to make sure we found the weather radio. We loved living in the condo for a month, and we're very sorry to leave. We'll definitely return as soon as we can.
