"I loved being right outside Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. It was the most convenient place for my needs, the breakfast options are as terrific as the staff. Every staff member I came across was friendly and welcoming. It was important to me to have a dog friendly spot, and they are. There's even a lovely cat on the premises, his name is Peppermint, and if you're an animal person, I hope you get to meet him. "

My only complaint is that the in-room HVAC system was louder than usual and woke me up a few times during the night. It wasn't bad enough to keep me from recommending the hotel, though.
