"The Harborside is a fine spot. It's a bit tired, but it's good value for the money. The AC works very well, so important in this part of the world. The pool is weak, but the place is really best as a one night crash pad. They will try to upsell you on check in, so be ready for that. The front desk staff has an odd air of superiority and importance for the most part. The Duty Manager, I forget his name, was particularly self important. "I was very impressed by this hotel. The pictures do not do it justice, it is in a perfect spot to walk to all the action in 2 mins but off to the side so it stayed quiet and reserved. The room was beautiful and perfect. I arrived at an odd hour and had to leave at an odd hour and the front desk was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Excellent location. Close to everything and connected to he night market and Esplanade. My complaint is that they don't wash their pillows and one of mine smelled like it was soaked in sweat, not necessarily body odour, but moreso like a wet towel, from the previous guests who used the room and they only changed out the pillow case. It was so bad I had to throw it in one corner of the room. My second room (had 2 different bookings) was a lot better. But there was a lingering musty smell...
