"The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable and we were very pleased with the hotel overall except for the desk and front lobby staff. We stayed for four days in New Orleans and during the entire time only received rather icy acknowledgements of our good morning or good evening greetings. They are in the hospitality business after all. The people serving breakfast were quite friendly, the food was great and varied. We'd stay there again actually, just wouldn't expect any civility from the front...

"Hotel was good. Some derelict properties boarded up with plywood right beside the hotel but clearly being used by squatters. Never felt unsafe but it’s definitely unsightly and could be unnerving. Amenities were what to be expected with a hotel in the French Quarter. Location is great access by foot to Marigny, French Quarter and Canal Street. Staff was good. "

"The Jung Hotel and Residence is great for the price. We stayed in the executive king room which had a modern washer/dryer in the closet. We found this to be helpful and definitely used it. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes glassware pots. Fridge kept food cold. Good microwave. This was great when reheating our leftovers. There was an electric stove top but we didnt use it. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Front desk was nice. Valet guys were also nice. The lobby is clean and also...

"The hotel is located in the center of everything. The walk to Bourbon Street was very short. The hotel could have been cleaner, especially the elevator, which had a bad odor. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner as well. "
