"The hotel is in such a perfect location right by the water, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff is friendly and knows English well enough to communicate with guests. We had an issue with the mini split breaking on us, but the hotel staff sent someone to work on it and ultimately ended up moving our room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family looking to stay in Veracruz."

"A wonderful old hotel. Very dated and needs some fresh carpet and furniture, but the room is enormous and the view is beyond compare. The bed is very comfortable. You get a wonderful breeze with all the windows. We love the housekeeper- she is so friendly and helpful"

"Everything was great about this hotel except the location was too far from the places we were visiting but worth the drive. "The reception staff were very friendly and helpful (they assisted me with getting a taxi to the airport when I was having trouble.) Overall, the value for the price was great. The room/hotel was decently clean and the shower had hot water. One thing to note is there aren’t bedside lamps or charging ports for your phone. It is very close to the Malecón. "
