We were prepared to use google translate as we did with every other hotel we stayed at during our trip but the second she saw we didn't speak Japanese, she pushed us off onto another employee. I think she thought we were going to assume that she spoke English because she wasn't Japanese and that's probably the reason why she didn't want to deal...

"Loved the guest house. The staff were amazing, especially Moka. She was very helpful and kind and the first evening she made us takoyaki. The only downside is that it's a bit far from downtown. However, with the subway nearly everywhere it's really accessible including Yokohama, so it wasn't that bad. The area is nice and quiet and very safe. I will definitely come back."
