"Excellent stay - would recommend to anyone. Hotel was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - buffet of cold options and hot breakfast choice cooked to order. Food was delicious. Parking is very limited, had to double park cars but attendant responded promptly to move them and it wasn’t an issue. We easily walked into Eyre Square, Latin Quarter etc and back. We stayed a second night in Galway later in our trip pre booked at a different hotel - wish we had come...

"We picked them from a mere Google search, and booked for two nights. The room was so clean & nice. When our Valentines evening stay canceled on us, they managed to keep us in our same room for an additional night. Our room was quickly serviced each morning when we went down to breakfast, and the staff was very friendly. "

"This is definitely more of a 3* hotel. The leisure facilities could definitely do with some investment as they were looking a bit tired unfortunately. The breakfast room was lovely and bright, with very attentive staff. Reception staff we also always on hand and friendly. Bedroom was spotlessly clean. "

"The Skeffington Arms is a super cool property. The only drawbacks are that one end of the restaurant smelled a little bit like a bathroom, the heater in our room would not shut off so I finally had to turn off the power to it, and it's a bit noisy late at night when music is playing in the restaurant. But overall, it was great, and we will stay there again next time we are in Galway."

"It was very close to the train station. Our tour pickup spot was minutes away. The area around is so walkable. It was such a perfect location. The hotel itself was super cute. The room was spacious enough for us to move around. The bathroom was a decent size. It had character. We loved it! There were so many food places right there. Check in and check out was seamless."
