"We visited in March so couldn't use the lake but enjoyed watching the amazing waterfowl gather and interact including merganzers, buffleheads, giant Canadian geese and swans!! We also watched shore birds hunt including a great blue heron that stalked the shore leaving footprints in the sandy bottom visible through the beautifully clear water. We enjoyed watching over the beautiful scene with coffee in the morning and wine at night. We enjoyed the many outdoor seating options We hiked the nearby Sherburne wildlife area and saw swans nesting and cranes in the fields and marshes. The home is beautifully finished with thoughtful extras available like spices and bath products. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed time in this welcoming home. "
