"The apartment was a nice surprise to me; it worked just fine. I needed time to seat , read, and write and the peace of the place provided that. It is a little bit retired from the center, but public transportation is excellent around the area (and in Germany in general). If you are looking for typical air-conditioned home, you might be disappointed. The pool is small, but coming to Berlin is not the place to stay in a pool. "Wir haben die Zeit im Sommerhaus Ella sehr genossen. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert ab und wir (mein Mann, meine zwei Kinder (3 und 6 Jahre) und ich) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war äußerst sauber, die Betten frisch bezogen und die Hühner waren ein Highlight für unsere Kinder! Auch der Kontakt zu Dirk und Kathrin war sehr angenehm! "We thought the house was great. Built only a few years ago, with everything clean and top quality. The house is nicer in reality than in the pictures! The owner was very friendly and quickly fixed a minor problem we had with one of the appliances. The house is on a private track in the forest, with quiet neighbours either side, with a large garden, decked patio and pond. It's a 45 minute drive into Berlin city centre, or 20 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn from where it's about 30 minutes by train....
