"Horrible experience. I was traveling to Berlin for one night and upon arrival I found the hotel front door closed. Apparently this is normal as there is no staff on hand unless there is a check-in due however this prompted me to give the hotel a call. "Pension Pushkin offers cheap accommodation in Berlin. Now I've gone through all the good points, let me give some tips and tricks... Tip one, the room is extremely hot with no fan or aircon, sleeping with the window open does offer some relief but the road noise is excessive only to be drowned out by the train noise. "Living in Berlin City Stay Hostel is really a great experience. "The property did the job and is okay if you need a warm dry place to stay. Great location as it’s just out of the centre and has an amazing bakery next door. Unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable and was far too firm, which gave both guests some bad nights sleep. The shower had 2 settings, boiling or freezing.
