"A lovely, modern hotel with relatively large rooms, every amenity you could want, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful onsen and restaurant complex next door. Just across the street from the train station and a very short walk catty-corner to the ferry terminals. The staff was terrific, both in the hotel and restaurant, and did everything possible to make us feel like honored guests. An extra touch was free coffee/tea/snacks/ice cream and as much bottled water as we wanted. One of our favorite hotels on our 3-month trip."

"We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating. The location is very good, about 10 min walking from the train station, with a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Room was big even for international standards, and huge compared to other places that we stayed at in Japan. "

"Beautiful hotel and corner rooms have a view that overlooks the town out to the sea. We appreciated the chefs accommodating our cow’s milk allergy. Dinner was very good. Added bonus: the hotel is associated with Naoshima Tours (bicycle rental and luggage transport); very convenient! Would definitely recommend. "
