"Great hotel in Takamatsu, i can’t say enough about the staff that were super helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was very organized and easy to navigate. The breakfast was busy at times but very good. Overall, lots of value and i hope to come back in the future. "

"Top hotel in Japan with the highest quality of facilities and customer service. Also a great location next to the train station and harbour with attractive views from our 9th floor room. Even has an in-house bakery! Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended."

"I really enjoyed my one night stay here. The check in staff were very helpful and we had a very pleasant twin room. You select the amenities you want for the room in the lobby- there’s no wastage. The walk to the local shopping street and cable car to the castle on the hill is easy. And there is a tram over the way which we used to get to the Dogo Onsen. The room was fastidiously clean (as most of Japan is) and quiet. Great choice in Matsuyama."

"Located in one of the most popular areas in Matsuyama, walking distance to the Castle Ropeway, Mitsukoshi Dept store and many other attractions. Easy public transport to Dogo Onsen by tram or bus. Lot's of eating options from cheap chain shops to specialty shops (sushi, yaki-niku, etc) Their public bath is a plus. Recommended."

"One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. Located right next to the JR Imabari station and the end of the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Route. After a long day of cycling, it was a great experience. The staff allowed me to bring my bike into the room and hang it on the wall rack. There was a happy hour with free drinks from 6-9pm - sake, wine, spirits, etc. There was also a free coffee machine in the lobby. The room was clean and spacious. "The hotel is excellent, and the staff was polite. However, even though I am a permanent resident of Japan, they asked to photocopy my Japanese Resident ID card, even after I told him, in polite Japanese, that this was against the law. Also, at check out, while I was waiting in line, two Japanese couples barged in front of me and were attended to first, for no apparent reason. I felt discriminated against, despite speaking the language and living in the country for 27 years."

"lovely location. breakfast had a huge variety of choices. one small challenge was information. i asked about boat trips, went to the activity desk, who said they weren't running, who sent me back to the front desk, who gave me a bus timetable. every time I asked a question I was handed more paper. this was after a 15 minute long check in where they explained random hotel details. I then had to go to another desk to make dinner reservations - at the hotel. hoping for a bit more...

"The hotel is really well located, near the city's shopping district. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The bath is really nice, and the view of the city is beautiful. I will definitely consider returning to this hotel if I get the chance."
