"This Beach Cottage is as pictured, wonderfully comfortable, perfect for two couples. everything we needed was provided in quantity and quality from linens and towels to appliances and hot water. We live in Fernandina but a long weekend living on the beach with beautiful sunrises is an extra special treat. Our land locked friends who joined us were equally impressed. "I get woken up by a phone call 11:30 PM the night before check in saying the county has turned the water and electricity off. The county says it is uninhabitable. I had friends in the area and they sent me a photo showing the county shut them down three days prior to the call. The house was in shambles. No way someone was/will stay there. We had twelve family members coming. Some flying from NY. AND... this rental was for fourth of July week! Good luck finding a place for 12 people for the next...

"The house was perfect for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in pool deck and spa. It was spacious and the pool was immaculate and surprisingly cool. We smoked meat in the large smoker out back and enjoyed watching the game on the back porch TV. The house was well stocked with common appliances, cookware, plenty of towels for the pool, and two large refrigerators for groceries. The host was very personable and gave us a tour when we arrived. It was overall a great place to stay."

"Definitely a great location. Owners were very communicative. Place is close to the main town. 3 minutes from the National Park Visitor Center. Needs a tad of updating, we went to bar be cue and there was no gas. I can't give it half a star if not I would rate 4 1/2 stars. "

"washer or dryer not available ,towels left hanging for us to dry were musty smelling. took towels from sons house and used them. frig had left over grapes, tomatoes and strawberrys left in center bin that were wilted. mowing crew came at 8:30 on saturday morning while men were sleepng in after bachelor party. nice little place to stay"
