"It’s definitely a hotel for the under 40 crowd. I should have researched a bit more before choosing this hotel. Great location next to the Elements Mall, but a taxi or train ride to everything else. Definitely not walkable. Our room had a large carpet stain that despite a heroic effort to remove, a faint outline still remained, making one wonder what exactly happened there…. "We had a great time at Hotel Madera. It was located close to bus and subway transit, shopping and restaurants. We always felt safe walking around the area. The staff were all really nice as well and I would also recommend the breakfast."
