"Very helpful staff. Good breakfast included in price. Decent sized room with good amenities. Obviously excellent location for transport. I wish hotels wouldn't do the 'one guest, one pillow' thing though. As a side sleeper, one pillow is generally too thin for me to get comfortable. Also, it would have been helpful to have a recycling point (e.g. a bin for PET bottles)."

"I have stayed here a few time. This time I tried the spa. Absolutely fantastic! I slept really well after a visit to the spa and sauna. The staff were very nice and helped me get a taxi each day. Since I have been learning some Japanese and trying to speak it they seem more friendly. Except the breakfast guy he’s all business lol"

"A fine place to stay for a night or two while visiting the Aso region. Nearby onsen and Lawsons were convenient. Not a whole lot of options for dining nearby would be the only drawback."

"We chose this hotel because it is walking distance to Kumamoto castle and the reviews were good. We were pleasantly surprised that friendliness and professionalism of the staff, convenience to the restaurants and stores for shopping, and room was very nice and comfortable. We tried weekend brunch buffet which was much better than we expected! Everything we had was so delicious!! I wished we were able to try their breakfast buffet as well. We would stay here again and it is highly recommended! "
