"The spa is quite far out but has accessable buses from Sendai Station. The onzen was wonderful and clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke english. Only word of caution is unless you eat at the hotel, dinner options are limited and youd have to walk into town. "The building is very old and smells bad. The room was a smoking room before they made it non-smoking. It smelled. The bathroom was old but clean. The window was sanded glass so it was not possible to check the weather from the room, one had to go outside to check it. The lack of coin laundry is definitely a negative.
